She stopped, and with one hand on her hip gave him an eyebrow that Melanie would have been proud to call her own. “You’re awfully caffeinated today.”
“And you’re so much fun to tease.” He looped his arm through hers. “Right this way.”
He led her around the side of the stage and down the corridor behind it, stopping outside the archive room.
“Here?” Liza peered inside. “The file room? How Jack Lemmon of you.”
“It wasn't in there.” He pointed to the floor. “It was here.”
Her eyes widened. “In the middle of the hall? You kissed the congressman in the middle of the hall?”

This is the first book I’ve read by
his author!! What a wonderful book. It was very well written and the storyline
was very interesting. It was very fast paced. Kyle and Alexis have been friends
for a very long time, he introduces her to Bennett. She falls for Bennett and
they get married. Years go by and Alexis finds something in the car that has
her questioning if her husband is being faithful. When she confronts him he
admits that he is cheating on her. I felt so bad for her. Then Alexis finds out
something big. Her world starts to spend out of control by this surprise. She
runs into Kyle again. Oh I love the chemistry between Kyle and Alexis. This
book tugged at my heart and I cried a little. I can’t wait to read more from
this incredible author. This is a must read book. Thank you Mary for writing a
brilliant book. Great Job!!
I have found that writing is great therapy for my own personal fight against MS. Being a Louisiana native I wanted to write books about places in Louisiana that would piqué interest in my beautiful and unique state. My books take place in my home state and draw the reader in with the diverse culture, characters, and locations. It is my hope that my readers not only enjoy the books I have written, but also develop a desire to experience the unique culture that only Louisiana has to offer!
