"A dancer and a Marine—two worlds collide.
Chloe Johnson is no stranger to the spotlight. A prestigious member of the LA Laker Girls, she’s in the public eye regularly. Her world is perfect.
Eric Taylor, on the other hand, is damaged, both body and spirit. Injured overseas, he returns home with fresh physical wounds, invisible emotional scars, and a bad attitude.
When Chloe becomes the object of affection to an unknown stalker, she must leave her life behind and rely on a total stranger, and the only man she’s ever met who’s never happy to see her—Eric. Can she trust this hardened soldier with her life?
Adjusting to civilian life hasn’t been easy for Eric. Swearing off women forever, all he wants is to be left alone. However, his world is thrown into chaos when Chloe appears on his doorstep as an invited guest of Eric’s twin brother. Bewitched by her innocent charms, Eric fights to keep her at arm’s length, putting his No More Women resolve to the test.
Everything soon changes when Chloe’s stalker trackers her down, making her a pawn in a cat and mouse game of Dangerous Obsession.

Excerpt 1
The first one is from her stalkers
POV.
A dark figure stood
outside Chloe’s apartment, hidden in the shadows provided by the night. Crowds
formed, making it impossible to get closer without looking suspicious, so he
waited and watched. She’d come home earlier than he’d expected, which was the
only reason he wasn’t waiting in the bedroom with the ring she foolishly
returned all those months before.
Three months ago he
was livid when his gifts were given back. He’d attacked her in his rage,
leaving a scratched bruise on her face. Since then, he’d had time to reflect on
his actions and realized Chloe didn’t understand his feelings for her were
genuine. He needed to make her see how much she meant to him. Tonight was
intended to be that night, but anger enveloped him when he discovered she
wouldn’t be performing. She sat on the sidelines watching the game and his
heart constricted with pain at the idea—he lived to watch her
dance. It’d become his obsession.
Once the game
started, he left and made his way along the familiar streets to her house. It
took longer than he anticipated, but he didn’t care. If his Chloe didn’t dance,
he didn’t care enough to stay and watch the game. He knew his disappearance
would raise questions, but he’d make something up later to explain it away.
What was most important was making sure Chloe understood that he wouldn’t give
her up so easily.
He’d left the velvet
box, roses, and some pictures on her bed to show his love. He meant to leave
her apartment intact, but his disappointment in the situation made his head
spin. Before he could stop himself, he’d demolished everything he could get his
hands on.
Now, curious onlookers
surrounded her as she followed two uniformed officers to her friend’s car. He’d
taken note of the license plate when the man and woman first arrived, feeling
lucky he was able to write it down when they’d parked down the street. He’d do
his best to find out where the owners of that car lived, a technique he’d used
to find Chloe’s house.
Feeling smug, he let
her drive away into the night, his hand gripped tightly around the paper with
the plate number. He’d follow up in the morning with a visit to the local
police station for a license plate inquiry.
