a copy for her tour!
This is a short story, and it is
very fast paced but really good. In the short amount of time I got to know the
characters really well. The Author did a wonderful job with the story and the
characters. Very well written.
You have Angela who is in a marriage
that she feels like it isn’t going anywhere. She is in New York at a meeting, she sleeps with Logan Black. He is very
swoon-worthy and sexy. She goes home and that is when her life is turned upside
down. I don’t want to give away the story. But dang it is good. The ending was
a shocker as well.
I can’t wait for the next
installment to this series. Very good series!! Great job.

“Angela!” He calls out and I can’t respond. I’ve somewhat pulled myself together and if I speak now to him, I know it’ll all let lose once again.“Honey, what happened?” He says while he squats down next to me and places a hand on my shoulder.
“Logan, why are you here? Please, I can’t deal with you right now.” Speaking into my hands so I don’t have to make eye contact with him, especially since all I’ve dreamt of are those chocolate brown eyes. I know deep down if I look now, I’m done. Logan Black holds all the cards, and currently he has a full house while I have a pair of three’s.
“Angela, talk to me. Tell me what I can do to make it better?”
“No. I don’t want to talk to you about this. You can make it better by leaving like I’ve asked. Why are you even here?” I whisper as I turn my head to look towards him. His expression is so sincere. He looks as though he feels my pain and tiredness. Like he hasn’t slept.
“I’m not leaving you like this. We’ll talk later about why I’m here. Now, point me in the direction of your bedroom.”
“Really? You want to take me to my bedroom. Are you that insensitive to what I might be going through? I've just had everything in my life turned upside down and you want to take me to my bedroom?” I bark, furious that he would even ask me something like that. He reaches down and scoops me up into his arms. “Put me down now!”
“Honey, let me take care of you. I’m not taking you to bed yet. I’m going to draw you a bath and then we’ll go to bed, but not like you think,” he whispers into my ear.
“Um hum,” is the only noise I can manage. I wrap my hands around his neck, laying my head down onto his shoulder. Inhaling deeply, I take in Logan’s scent, which is like no other. A woodsy outdoor mixed with fresh soap. His smell alone makes me feel safe. How can one feel safe with a stranger? Standing me upright in the middle of my master bathroom, he turns the faucets on over the large garden tub, and flips the switch to plug the drain.

Questions:
1.
When
did you decide to write? I started writing years
ago and put it on the back burner when life got busy. I had a novel that I was
working on off and on and just left it. Last year my son was diagnosed with
Autism and Asperger’s, so I pulled up the novel and dug back into it. Other
than reading; writing became my escape a place where it was me and another
world.
2.
How
did you come up with the idea of your newest book? I
had a vision of Logan in my head but wasn’t sure how I wanted him to come to
life. I kept telling him to sleep, I’ll get to you after I’m done with what I’m
working on. Needless to say I was driving home one afternoon from work and the
plot came to me, I decided to sleep on it and see how I felt about it the next
morning. I literally woke up and started to write One Night, by the evening I
had it completed and was like okay let’s give this a true. Let’s publish Logan
and Angela’s story first to get my feet wet.
3.
What
Genre do write? Romance, drama and Erotic. Well
light erotic.
4.
Would
you ever write with another author if asked? Yes, I
love the idea of co-writing with another author. What a wonderful way to
showcase each other’s talent.
5.
Who
is your biggest inspiration? My Son. He has not
only shown us how to view the world through his eyes, but how to love
unconditional and accept the things that you can’t change. He makes me a
stronger person every day and is truly my miracle.
6.
Who
are some of your favorite authors? Oh my, we might
need a whole book to list all my favorites. Since I read a little of everything
you will see a bunch of different authors that have inspired me. Stephen King,
James Paterson, Jane Austen, Edgar Allen Poe, Sylvain Reynard, Mya Banks. Okay
let me stop before I bore you all with my list. J

What
genre do you like to read? I love to read
everything but Sci-Fi. I’m not a huge fan of that genre.

What
was the last book that you read? Loving Mr. Daniels

What
are you working on? I’m back to my first novel;
Will I Ever Love Again. A story of a woman who has dealt with lose and
heartache all in the same 24 hour period and the journey she takes to trust and
maybe even love again. I’m hoping to release this in September of 2014.

Animal: Don’t judge but it’s my chickens. I am
addicted to them and love all 6. Shh don’t tell the dog or two cats.

4. Favorite Genre of Music: I listen to everything. I love the oldies, I’m talking
the real oldies. My Pandora is full of stuff from the 60’s to today’s hits. I’m
the one who you stare at in the car dancing while she’s driving.

Season: Can I pick two? Okay I’m picking two.
Summer; I love to be out on the water fishing, boating or sailing. Fall is my second favorite; the welcome of
cooler temps, the change in the trees and then the smells of apple cinnamon
