On a working vacation in Montana, Chef Gabi Inez’s schedule allows her to enjoy planned activities and hangout with her cousin and his new family. She’s not looking for love, but spending time with a hunky cowboy sounds perfect. Gabi works hard, but every girl needs some fun. What if flirting leads to something more?   Sam Malone is the brains behind Blackbird, a guest and working ranch. Since his parents’ death, his sole purpose has been family and the ranch’s survival. Burned by love in the past, he avoids the distraction that comes with beautiful women. But what’s a cowboy to do when a sweet and sassy chef gets under his skin, only to be told by her overprotective cousin she’s off limits?

~My Interview~

1.) So can you tell us how you came up with the idea for this book? The Title?
I knew I wanted to return to Blackbird ranch after my first story, The Gift. I thought a foodie romance would be fun to try, especially from a multicultural standpoint.
My working title was Sam’s Sweet and Sassy Chef, which is waaayyy too long. So came up with Sam’s Temptation instead.

2.) Who is your favorite character in this book and why?
I really like both Sam and Gabi. They feel very real to me. Both of them are a bit nerdy which was fun to layer in – especially on a hunky cowboy.

3.) Is this book different from the others you have written in the past? If so how?
It is. My other published works are m/m. However, this book is gay friendly with three gay secondary characters. It’s also my first foodie romance.

4.) What is your favorite genre to write and why?
I love writing multicultural or interracial romance. So many of us are diverse in many ways, and I enjoy writing about that.

5.) Does your family and friends read your books?
Family no, friends yes. My hubby and son are very supportive but haven’t read my works. My friends have and are fans. Yay!
6.) What are you currently working on? Do you have a release date yet? Title?
I’m currently writing a sequel to Hunter’s Mark. It features Hunter’s best friend Rex. This hasn’t been submitted or contracted yet, so no release date. The working title is Rex’s Mate.

7.) What inspired you to become an author?
I’ve always enjoyed telling stories. I told my little brother stories, and as soon as I could write, I was writing them. When I read my first romance, I was hooked. I thought that would be the coolest job in the world. Thrilled my dream is a reality.

8.) Tell us a little about yourself.
I’ve lived in Minnesota for about 16 years. I’m married and have a teenaged son. I work as a Project Manager at my day job and write on evenings and weekends. I’m an avid reader, cross stitcher, sci-fi geek, and nature lover.

This or That: (Just for Fun)
1.) Erotic Novels or New Adult? Erotic novels
2.) Paranormal or Sci-fi? Both!
3.) Cat or Dog? Dog. Allergic to cats now.
4.) Night or Day? Night
5.) Winter or Summer? Summer
6.) Vampires or Werewolf? Both –Yummy!
